SCSHA Member Committees

Welcome, SCSHA Members!

The SCSHA executive board has established standing committees that focus on our mission and vision.  These committees are volunteer.  Any current SCSHA member may become a committee member.  Individuals must be a voting member of SCSHA to chair a committee.

What will I need to apply?

Name and contact information, information about your work setting as an SLP and/or Audiologist, and a short statement on why you feel you’d qualify to be on the committee. If you are applying for a leadership role please be prepared to include a brief statement about why you are interested in leading the committee.

What are the expectations for participation?

Committee members should expect to serve on a committee at least from the time of the annual convention to the convention the following year (1 year).  Committee chairs should plan on serving for 2 years. Committee membership is open throughout the year.

What is the meeting schedule?

Some committees meet more often than others.  The SCSHA member calendar is located at the bottom of this page and contains all known upcoming committee meetings.  Most committees meet at least once per quarter.
