Which Category of Membership is right for me?
Voting Member (Audiologists, SLPs, SLTs, SLPAs, and Speech-Language-Hearing Scientists): A professional member is an individual who is employed as a speech, language, or hearing professional (Audiologist, SLP, SLT, SLPA, or Speech-Language-Hearing Scientist). Voting members are eligible for all privileges and benefits of association membership.
Non-voting Member (professionals or researchers in related disciplines or community members): Non-voting members are defined as professionals or researchers who have completed a degree (graduate or undergraduate) in a related discipline or community members. Non-voting members are interested in promoting the purposes, objectives, and activities of the Association. Non-voting members are eligible to serve on standing committees and to attend the annual business meeting of the Association. Non-voting members are not eligible to vote, hold elected offices, or chair committees.
Student: Student members are defined as those individuals who are enrolled in a degree program at the bachelor's, master's, or doctoral level in Communication Sciences and Disorders (which includes Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology) or a related discipline at a regionally accredited higher education institution. Student members are interested in promoting the purposes, objectives, and activities of the Association. Student members are eligible to serve on standing committees and to attend the annual business meeting of the Association. Student members are not eligible to vote, hold elected office, or chair committees. Upon degree completion, student members must renew at the voting or non-voting membership level.
Life: Individuals who have held voting membership in the Association for 20 consecutive years and are age 65 or older are eligible for life membership . This status will grant all rights and privileges awarded to a voting member. Life membership dues shall be assessed at a reduced rate. Application forms for Life membership will be available on the website.

How do I change my work or contact information associated with my Member Account?
- Sign in to your Member Center using your member username/password to update any fields as needed from your Member Center Account. Access to sign in is located on the top left side of this website.
Can I transfer my SCSHA membership to another individual?
- Yes and No. Membership is individual and may not be transferred to another person, except when an organization paying for multiple memberships to support staff transfers a membership to a new individual. For organiation's wishing to transfer a membership please Contact Us
How do I reset my SCSHA Password?
- If you have forgotten your password, you can request to reset your password from the Sign In page. You will be asked to enter/verify the primary email address associated with your Member Account. If you need help, Contact Us *HINT* The primary email address associated with your Member Account is the email we send information to!
How do I change my work/contact information and build my member profile?
- Sign in to your Member Center using your member username/password. Change or add information in your member profile and build your bio at any time after you are signed in to your Member Center. If you need help, Contact Us
What is the membership year?

SCSHA Membership year operates on an annual membership year which starts January 1 annually

New members pay the full membership fee which covers set up and processing. We do not allow for discounted, prorated or refunded memberships.
