2027 Annual Convention - General Information
New for 2027: In-Person & Asynchronous Virtual Convention Experience
We're excited to introduce a brand-new way to participate in the 2027 SCSHA Convention!
As part of our commitment to providing exceptional value to our members and attendees, SCSHA is launching an Asynchronous Virtual Convention. This new initiative helps us keep Convention registration affordable, expand continuing education (CEU) opportunities, and make high-quality educational content accessible to members who may be unable to attend during the scheduled Convention dates.
Included with Full Convention Registration
The Asynchronous Virtual Convention will be offered as a complimentary add-on to all attendees registered for the 2027 Convention in Myrtle Beach. Registered attendees will have on-demand access to select Convention sessions, allowing them to view presentations they may have missed during the live event and earn additional CEUs at their convenience.
Virtual-Only Registration Option
For members and professionals who are unable to travel to Myrtle Beach or prefer a flexible learning experience, the Asynchronous Virtual Convention will also be available as a standalone registration option. Virtual participants will have access to educational content and CEU opportunities without attending the Convention in person.
Whether you're joining us in Myrtle Beach or participating from afar, the Asynchronous Virtual Convention provides greater flexibility, expanded learning opportunities, and added value to your Convention experience.
Stay tuned for additional details, including registration information, available sessions, and CEU offerings.

Reciprocal Member Registration Rates
SCSHA is pleased to extend reciprocal member registration rates to eligible attendees who are members of another state Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
This benefit recognizes the value of professional collaboration across state lines and helps make Convention participation more accessible and affordable for colleagues nationwide. Individuals who can provide proof of current membership in a state Speech-Language-Hearing Association will qualify for the reciprocal registration rate when registering for the 2027 Convention.
To receive this reduced rate, participants will be asked to submit valid documentation verifying their active membership in their home state association during the registration process.
We’re proud to support a connected professional community and to welcome our out-of-state colleagues as part of the SCSHA Convention experience.
