Remember these key dates leading up to the 2026 Convention:
- December 22, 2025... Last day to register and receive discounted Early Bird rates
- December 22, 2025... Last day to book your hotel room and receive discounted rates in our Group Block
- January 18, 2026... Attendee registration closes
- January 22-24, 2026... Convention in Session at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center
What Will It Cost to Attend
Registration fees include entrance to all sessions, exhibit hall, meals, receptions, and events listed on the agenda.
Upon Registering
All Convention registrations will be completed online. Once you register you will receive a confirmation email and a registration receipt. If you don’t receive your receipt, or have questions about your registration, please contact the Convention coordinator at: info@scsha.co
Check your spam or junk folder first in the event the automated confirmation email was routed there.
ADA Compliance and Accessibility
The 2026 SCSHA Convention is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible event experience for all participants. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we strive to ensure that all Convention activities, programs, and facilities are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
If you require reasonable accommodations to fully participate in the Convention, please contact our Convention coordinator at info@scsha.co or (678) 533-5915 by Monday, January 5, 2026 so that we may make the necessary arrangements. While every effort will be made to meet requests received after this date, we cannot guarantee availability of all services.
e-Syllabus
Approximately one week prior to the Convention, you will receive an e-syllabus link delivered to the email used during registration. It will include all the details about the Convention, including an up-to-date schedule, session room assignments, map of Convention Center and available speaker handouts. The e-syllabus is in a mobile-friendly format and will be viewable on your laptop, tablet, or phone.
What to Wear
Attire at this Convention ranges from business casual to casual. Be sure to dress in layers since Convention room temperatures tend to fluctuate throughout the day, and be sure to bring a jacket.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@scsha.co. A $35 processing and merchant services fee will be deducted from all registration refunds.
- No refunds will be issued after December 27, 2025, as headcounts for meals and on-site printed materials will have been confirmed with the venue.
- Refunds will not be issued for denied visa applications.
- Substitutions are accepted at no additional charge and can be requested by emailing our office at info@scsha.co prior to the start of the Convention.
- Exceptions to this cancellation policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
A Warning: Associations Conventions/Conferences are more frequently being targeted by scammers. Be wary if you receive a phone call regarding "discounted hotel rooms or discounted registration" requiring you to give out your credit card information over the phone or by email. Only trust information that comes directly from SCSHA in our verified email format or information which is posted on here on our official website.
